It's Derby Day this Weekend as Kerry Mullins' side travel to Parc Taff to take on local Welsh Football League rivals Treharris Athletic Western.
Penydarren BGC return to Welsh Football League Division 3 action when they travel to Parc Taff to take on Treharris Athletic Western on Saturday afternoon. The hosts enter the game on a good run of form after last week’s 4-1 away victory against South Wales Alliance League side Grange Albion in the last 16 of the FAW Trophy. Kerry Mullins’ side currently lie in sixth place in Welsh Football League Division 3, seven points ahead of ninth placed Treharris Athletic Western and eighteen points off the top of the table with eight games in hand.
Saturday’s visitors Treharris Athletic Western come into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw with Ynysygerwn FC on Tuesday evening. The reverse fixture between the two sides ended with Penydarren coming out comprehensive 3-1 winners at The Bont Playing Fields back in September.
