Penydarren BGC return to Welsh Football League Division 3 action when they host AFC Porth at The Bont Playing Fields on Saturday afternoon. The hosts enter the game on a good run of form with their most recent win coming against Ian Summers’ Chepstow Town AFC just two weeks ago. Kerry Mullins’ side currently lie in sixth place in Welsh Football League Division 3, nine points ahead of twelfth placed AFC Porth and just fifthteen points off the top of the table with seven games in hand.
Saturday’s visitors AFC Porth come into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw with Panteg last Saturday. The reverse fixture between the two sides ended with Penydarren coming out 1-0 winners at Dinas Park back in October. The winning goal coming from Penydarren’s summer signing Alex Long.
