Penydarren BGC Veterans boss Gall expects another tough game ahead of Derby Day clash with Nelson

Penydarren BGC Veterans are back in action again this weekend with a local derby against Nelson Caverliars in the Welsh Veterans Football League.

Penydarren BGC come into the game on the back off a 11-1 victory against Caerau Ely in the Quarter Final of the Welsh Veterans Football League Cup last weekend but Manager Keiron Gall is expecting another tough game this weekend. “This is the Vets Derby of the season and it's going to be a very tough game as both teams up their game for the bragging rights and we are expecting a very resolute and organised Nelson team. We will approach the game with 100% focus and we know that any little mistakes that we make will be punished”. Gall then emphasised his targets for the season. “For our new season as a new club in the Veterans league the winning streak has to be our main objective not just this game but until the end of the season to thank the club for supporting us this year on and off the pitch. He also said “ I would like to welcome you all to watch this massive Derby game on Sunday 13th Jan 2019 2pm K.O and come support the lads and make The Bont a fortress”.
